Lentil Soup

Serves 6

Ingredients:
8 oz. dried lentils
4 cups low-salt chicken broth or stock
1 TB dried minced onion
1/8 tsp. dried minced garlic
1 tsp. salt
dash pepper
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. dried thyme

Directions
1. Sort, wash, and drain lentils.
2. Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pan, bring to a boil, and simmer 45 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving.
